It was Baldwin's first at-bat this season since coming off the injured list after dealing with a right oblique strain since May 18th.
The reigning National League Rookie of the Year was having a stellar season until he hit the IR. Baldwin was hitting a team-best .303 batting average heading into Tuesday's matchup, which was tied with Michael Harris II, who left the game with an injury.
He now has 14 home runs and 39 RBI in 49 games this season, a year removed from taking the NL by storm.
Baldwin finished his 2025 rookie campaign with 19 home runs, 80 RBI, and a .274/.341/.469 slashline in 124 games, receiving 21 of 30 first-place votes for the NL ROTY award.
Atlanta currently sit atop the MLB with the best record at 46-25 (Tuesday's game excluded).
