Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has spoken on the club's ambitions after a 3-0 win over Brentford.

The win over the Bees means that City have cut Arsenal's lead to just three points as the North London side prepare to battle with West Ham this afternoon.

City need Arsenal to drop points in one of their remaining three games to have a chance of beating them to the Premier League title, but the side must also remain perfect in their final few clashes.

Haaland, who grabbed a goal and an assist on Saturday afternoon, spoke after the clash and revealed that ambition is always strong on his side as they track down more silverware this season.

“If you play for Manchester City, you think of titles every single day,” the striker stated.

“It feels good to win 3-0,” Haaland remarked after the final whistle.

“We just missed the last shot on goal today. We created a lot of chances and didn’t get the last shot on a lot of crosses. Brentford defended well. They are a good team. There are no easy games in the Premier League. So we are happy."

On his goals this season: "I am trying to do my job, and 26 goals is more than last year. So it’s OK."

City boss Pep Guardiola shouted "come on you Irons" in his post-match press conference as all eyes turned towards West Ham's clash against Arsenal, where the Spaniard and his squad will hope that the relegation candidates can pull off a shock result.
