"Special praise goes to Mathias Gidsel today. He delivered an outstanding performance and never gave up, even when he wasn't rewarded with a goal in certain situations," says Krickau.
Krickau also said that he was very pleased with the points from the win.
"We are very happy about these two points. It was the tough match we expected. Our six-on-six play was solid. Our control of the game wasn't perfect, but we still tried to make the best of it. However, Stuttgart's 3–0 run in the final minutes obviously hurt us. We are happy with the win."
Fuchse Berlin currently sit in seventh spot in the domestic league with four points from three matches. THW Kiel top the table with six points, just like Flensburg-Handewitt and Magdeburg.
