Saturday, September 19th
Millwall vs West Ham - 13:30 CET
In one of English football’s fiercest and most fiery rivalries, London outfits Millwall and West Ham go head-to-head in the Championship on Saturday, with both teams eyeing a route back to the Premier League.
This rivalry goes all the way back to the 19th century in East London, when both sets of supporters usually worked on shipyards, competing for the same business, hence the name 'The Dockers Derby'. Fast forward to the 1970s, when football hooliganism became a real issue in England, and West Ham and Millwall fanbases were notoriously involved.
West Ham have typically been a Premier League side in the modern era, but after being relegated last season, a fixture with Millwall was back on the cards for the first time since 2012. The Hammers are unbeaten in their last four meetings, while Millwall’s last win came back in 2004.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side are the firm favourites to win the Championship and return to England’s top division, considering the strength of their squad. They currently sit top of the table having lost just one of their first seven games, while scoring 20 goals. Captain Jarrod Bowen has four goals and three assists in the league.
Meanwhile, Millwall have had a mixed start, sitting in 11th with three wins, a draw and three losses. Last campaign, they finished third, but suffered a surprising defeat to Hull in the play-off semi-finals. However, the Championship has expanded the play-off format to six teams this season, and the Lions will certainly fancy their chances of a top eight berth.
With a colourful history on and off the pitch, and a rivalry laced with genuine hatred, The Den is going to be absolutely rocking this weekend. Entertainment and ferocity are guaranteed!

Roma vs Inter Milan - 18:00 CET
Football is in for a treat on Saturday, as two of the most impressive teams in the Serie A - AS Roma and Inter Milan - square off in the Italian capital. At least one of them will lose their 100% record come the end of the day.
Many fans and pundits were talking Roma up as the biggest challenger to the Scudetto this term, and so far, the Giallorossi have lived up to that chatter. Four wins, 12 goals, and just one conceded so far, and Gian Piero Gasperini's side could not have asked for a better start. The duo of Donyell Malen and Paulo Dybala have been deadly for opponents, with the former scoring half of the goals while the latter has provided four assists.
While much of the conversation has been about Roma's start, one should not forget that Inter are also 4-0-0. The Nerazzurri have the most goals in the league thus far with 13, scoring three or more times in three of those matches. Winners in two of the last three campaigns, they have been the most consistent side in the country over the last four years. It will be a tall order to beat this team, who already showed some resilience in their last match - a 5-3 thriller over Udinese.
Gasperini has not enjoyed any success against Inter in any of the last 10 head-to-heads, whether that be with Roma or his last club Atalanta. However, the capital club did defeat the Nerazzurri 1-0 during the 2024/25 season. Matias Soule, who has also had a good start to the campaign, scored the only goal in that match. That is Roma's only victory in this match-up in the last seven, with Inter prevailing in the other six. In fact, the Giallorossi have not come out on top at home since 2016.
Saturday's clash has to be seen as one of the games of the week across Europe. If Gasperini can finally lead a team to victory over Inter, it will well and truly give his Roma team more credibility in their hunt for their first Scudetto in 26 years. Lose again, and it could very well leave fans feeling that it might be Inter's year once more.

Sunday, September 20th
Atletico Madrid vs Real Madrid - 16:15 CET
The headline LaLiga clash of the weekend comes in the Spanish capital, as Diego Simeone’s Atletico host rivals Real in a mouthwatering Madrid derby.
While league leaders Barcelona have received most of the early-season plaudits, both Atleti (fourth) and Jose Mourinho’s Real (second) have started the campaign in fine form ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
Los Blancos are targeting a third successive Madrid derby victory for the first time since December 2020, and Mourinho will fancy his chances of achieving that feat given he’s lost just one of his eight meetings against Atleti as Real boss (W8, L1).
What's more, talismanic figures Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham have started 2026/27 in inspired form, scoring 10 LaLiga goals between them across the opening six games.
As for the Rojiblancos, they’ve performed admirably amid the Julian Alvarez saga and should be full of confidence after emphatic league victories over Real Sociedad and Osasuna in the past week.
Just two points separate the two sides ahead of the biggest LaLiga match of the season so far, so make sure you tune in!

Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings - 19:00 CET
This is the pick of the NFL matches in Week 2! The Vikings are coming off a 22-point fourth-quarter comeback win over the Green Bay Packers, while the Bears put up the most points (59) of any team in Week 1.
Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray left last week’s game after a brutal hit to the head and is questionable to start this week. If he can’t go, Carson Wentz will resume the starter role after tossing three touchdowns against the Packers.
They’ll be keeping up with a Bears offense that was just one of two last week to eclipse 500 total yards of offense (Bears - 552, Baltimore Ravens - 506). Caleb Williams needs just one more score through the air to join Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes as the only quarterbacks in NFL history to reach 50 career passing touchdowns with fewer than 15 interceptions.
Minnesota own a 69-59-2 all-time record against Chicago dating back to 1961 and have won eight of the last 10 matchups. They split the season series last year 1-1, with each game being decided by three points or less.
One milestone to note for the game is that Bears running back D’Andre Swift needs 101 rushing yards to reach the 5,000-yard mark for his career. He finished last week with 124 rushing yards (fourth-most in the NFL). The last time he faced off against Minnesota (November 11th, 2025), he finished with 90 yards on 21 carries.

It wouldn't be a weekend without a juicy European football tie to close out our Sunday evening. This week, AC Milan and Benfica occupy that primetime slot, but the place to be will be France, as champions Paris Saint-Germain travel down to Marseille to take on OM in Le Classique.
Widely regarded as the biggest rivalry in French football, this derby is not at all geographically based, with the sides miles apart, but rather a clash between the country's two most successful sides, historically. In recent times, however, this has been skewed in the Parisiens' favour, just slightly...
You have to go all the way back to 2010 for the last time that Marseille won Ligue 1, and to 2012 for the last time they won a major trophy (the Coupe de la Ligue). PSG, meanwhile, have dominated proceedings domestically (and continentally) of late, winning the last five league titles, to go with their back-to-back Champions League crowns.
Moving to this season, things have been a little more complex for Luis Enrique's troops. They have started the league season with just one win from four (with two draws and a loss), and already trail the pacesetters by five points after adding plenty of talent in the summer. They'll back themselves to close that gap, but the pressure is there.
Bruno Genesio's side have fared even worse, unfortunately, and are currently riding a four-match losing run across competitions. There is hope for OM on Sunday, though; they did win this fixture last year in the same round (1-0), and you can bet they'll be bang up for this against their old enemies in Stade Vélodrome!
