The New York Rangers trade forward Vincent Trocheck to the Utah Mammoth in exchange for defenseman Sean Durzi, forward Cole Beaudoin, and a 2027 conditional third-round pick.

Trocheck, 32, is entering his 14th year in the NHL after putting up 16 goals in 67 games this past season - the fewest since the start of the current decade.

He spent the past four seasons with the Rangers, playing in all 82 games in each of the first three years, all three of which he scored at least 22 goals and recorded at least 30 assists.

Trocheck is just 11 goals shy of hitting the 250 mark in his career, as he now joins a Mammoth team that was bounced out of the first round of the playoffs by the Vegas Golden Knights

Durzi, 27, has spent the three seasons with the Mammoth (one when they were the Arizona Coyotes). He put up five goals and 22 assists through 60 games this past season.

Beaudoin, 19, still a prospect, scored 33 goals and recorded 55 assists in 54 games last season with the Barrie Colts of the OHL. The Ottawa native was selected 24th overall in the 2024 NHL Draft and is now a highly notable prospect for the Rangers.
