San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama recorded the fastest double-double in NBA history, taking only eight minutes to put up 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The previous record was nine minutes, set by Andre Drummond in 2022.

Wemby, 22, finished the game with 41 points (17-27) with 16 rebounds, four assists, three blocks, and a steal as the Spurs went on to beat the Chicago Bulls 129-114, extending their now nine-game win streak.

It's just another milestone as the French superstar continues to make his case for MVP this season. He's averaging 24.2 points, 11.3 rebounds, and a league-leading 3.1 blocks per game - no other player averages more than 1.8.

San Antonio are on the path for the NBA Finals this year as they currently rank second in the Western Conference with a 57-18 record, sitting just two games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, a team the Spurs are 4-1 against this season.

Since February 1st, the Spurs are a jaw-dropping 25-2.

"The most fun part is that we've got a healthy locker room and we're just happy as a whole because we get on together well on and off the court," said Wembanyama after the game. "We're just loving the experience."
