The start of the new tennis season continues to roll on, with plenty of big names in action at the United Cup, as well as at tournaments in Brisbane, Auckland and Hong Kong.

15:47 CET - Switzerland are through to the United Cup semi-finals after Belinda Bencic and Jakub Paul proved too strong for Maria Lourdes Carle and Guido Andreozzi in the doubles, winning 6-3, 6-3

14:40 CET - In the final match of the day in Hong Kong, third seed Andrey Rublev has battled from a set down to beat Yibing Wu 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 and move into the last eight.

13:44 CET - Sebastian Baez has drawn Argentina level in their United Cup quarter-final against Switzerland after a hard-fought 7-5, 6-4 triumph over Stan Wawrinka.

12:23 CET - Switzerland have taken the lead in their United Cup quarter-final tie with Argentina after Belinda Bencic dismantled Solana Sierra in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, home hope Coleman Wong Chak-lam has produced a stunning upset, defeating sixth seed Gabriel Diallo 1-6, 7-5, 7-5.

10:55 CET - Second seed Amanda Anisimova has kicked off her 2026 season in style, with the American easing past Kimberly Birrell 6-1, 6-3 in just 64 minutes in Brisbane.

Over in Hong Kong, Nuno Borges has sealed his place in the last eight, thanks to a 7-5, 6-3 victory against experienced Croat Marin Cilic.

10:22 CET - Mirra Andreeva is through in Brisbane after a comeback 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 triumph over home favourite Olivia Gadecki, while Marta Kostyuk has also progressed after seeing off Yulia Putintseva in three sets.

09:37 CET - Top seed Lorenzo Musetti is the first man through to the Hong Kong quarter-finals, with the Italian coming from behind to beat Tomas Martin Etcheverry 6-7(3), 6-2, 6-4.

08:49 CET - Defending champions USA are through to the semi-finals at the United Cup after Coco Gauff and Christian Harrison saw off Maria Sakkari and Stefanos Tsitsipas 4-6, 6-4, 10-8 in the decisive doubles rubber.

Elsewhere, ninth seed Linda Noskova has battled through in Brisbane, with the Czech outlasting Magdalena Frech 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-4, while in Auckland, Xinyu Wang has beaten Renata Zarazua in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4.

07:42 CET - There's plenty to catch you up on overnight, with Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff earning dominant wins over Suzan Lamens and Maria Sakkari, respectively, at the United Cup, while Stefanos Tsitsipas produced a superb display to see off Taylor Fritz in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

In Brisbane, fourth seed Jessica Pegula recovered from a set down to defeat Anna Kalinskaya 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, while Dayana Yastremska, Liudmila Samsonova and Aliaksandra Sasnovich also moved through to the third round.

Meanwhile, on the men's side of the tournament, top seed Daniil Medvedev is through to the quarter-finals after a convincing 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Frances Tiafoe.
