The fourth round of Indian Wells is here and it has given us some seismic clashes, with Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula, Elena Rybakina, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Daniil Medvedev all facing huge tests today.

07:52 CET - We'll be back with a brand new tracker at around 18:00 CET to keep you up to date with the rest of the fourth-round action in California. In the meantime, catch up on everything right here.

07:45 CET - Olympic champion Qinwen Zheng is safely through to the quarter-finals after a relatively routine 6-3, 6-2 triumph over Marta Kostyuk. Up next for Zheng is the small matter of Iga Swiatek.

Meanwhile, on the men's side of the tournament, fifth seed Daniil Medvedev has played his best match of the year, sweeping aside Tommy Paul in straight sets, 6-4, 6-0.

07:34 CET - Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva has continued her sparkling run of form, thrashing seventh seed Elena Rybakina 6-1, 6-2 in just 67 minutes.

It's a ninth consecutive win for Andreeva, who moves into the Indian Wells quarter-finals for the first time.

03:30 CET - After a very long weather delay, Elina Svitolina manages to come from a set down to beat Jessica Pegula 5-7, 6-1, 6-2. The Ukrainian picked things up in the second set, playing some high quality tennis to overpower the home crowd favourite. Svitolina will face Mirra Andreeva or Elena Rybakina in the quarter-finals.

23:33 CET - Holger Rune has taken down tricky customer, ninth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas with some aplomb, winning their encounter 6-4, 6-4.

22:09 CET - Play is back underway at Indian Wells and it didn't take long for Tallon Griekspoor to wrap up his last 16 tie against Yosuke Watanuki.

The Dutchman won both games after the rain delay to go through with a 7-6(4), 6-1 victory.

21:28 CET - More rain has interrupted play at Indian Wells with just one match completed so far today.

20:57 CET - Second seed and defending champion Iga Swiatek has cruised into the final eight in Indian Wells after dispatching Karolina Muchova 6-1, 6-1 in under an hour.

The Pole has dropped just six games so far in the tournament, wow.

20:03 CET - After a near-hour delay at Indian Wells, we are underway for the day.

19:16 CET - Some rain around in the desert has delayed the start of play in Indian Wells...

19:00 CET - The other early game in California sees Dutch star Tallon Griekspoor look to continue his good run, one that includes the scalp of Alex Zverev. He takes on Japan's Yosuke Watanuki. The 26-year-old world number 349 is on a dream run too, having taken out two seeds on his way to the last 16.

18:38 CET - The big game to start the day sees Karolina Muchova face the tough prospect of Iga Swiatek. The world number two has won the last two editions of Indian Wells, whilst the pair met in the French Open final back in 2023, where Swiatek was victorious.
