It's the start of another important week in the tennis calendar, with Australian Open tune-up tournaments taking place in Adelaide, Auckland and Hobart.

10:53 CET - Fifth seed Valentin Vacherot is the latest man to progress in Adelaide, with the Monegasque player seeing off Miomir Kecmanovic in straight sets, 7-6(5), 6-4.

Elsewhere, Sebastian Baez is through in Auckland after a comeback 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 triumph over Emilio Nava, while Olga Danilovic has shocked second seed McCartney Kessler 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in Hobart.

09:28 CET - Fourth seed Ekaterina Alexandrova has been dumped out in Adelaide after a shock 6-4, 6-4 defeat to Romania's Jaqueline Cristian.

08:23 CET - There's been plenty of notable action overnight, with Emma Navarro and Victoria Mboko advancing in Adelaide after victories over Emerson Jones and Beatriz Haddad Maia, respectively.

Anna Kalinskaya, Marie Bouzkova and home hope Ajla Tomljanovic have also moved through in Adelaide, while on the men's side of the tournament, Reilly Opelka proved too strong for Alexei Popyrin in a 6-3, 7-6(5) win.

Elsewhere, fifth seed Cameron Norrie is through to the second round in Auckland after a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Hugo Gaston, while Ann Li, Elisabetta Cocciaretto and Solana Sierra have all claimed wins in Hobart.
