19:39 CET - The in-form Daniil Medvedev has been dumped out in the third round, with the Russian losing in three sets to 18th seed Francisco Cerundolo, 6-0, 4-6, 7-5.

Finalist at Indian Wells, the resurgent 30-year-old was completely outclassed in a 22-minute opening set, and despite gaining a foothold in the match, he was unable to see off the Argentine, who will face Ugo Humbert for a place in the quarter-finals.

Medvedev won just 55% of points behind his first delivery, while also making 41 unforced errors.

19:24 CET - France's Terence Atmane has claimed an impressive victory over seventh seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in Miami after recovering from a second-set wobble to triumph 6-3, 1-6, 6-3

The 24-year-old, who converted two of his three break point opportunities against the Canadian, will face either Jakub Mensik or Frances Tiafoe in the last 16.

As for Auger-Aliassime, it was a surprisingly loose performance from the world number eight, as he committed 30 unforced errors across the three sets.

17:35 CET - On the men's side, Ugo Humbert has picked up the first win of the day, downing Alexander Shevchenko 6-4, 7-6 to move into the fourth round.

Next up for Humbert would be either Daniil Medvedev or Francisco Cerundolo, with the latter currently leading the former 6-0 in a potential shock result!

17:15 CET - Well, we didn't need to wait too long for the first win of the day, Karolina Muchova has thrashed Alexandra Eala 6-0, 6-2 in just over one hour to book the first spot in the women's quarter-finals.

The Czech 13th seed converted five break points from five and 78% of her points on serve to breeze past the promising Filipina.

Next up for Muchova is a meeting with the winner of Mirra Andreeva and Victoria Mboko, who are on court next in what is an intriguing clash of rising stars.

16:39 CET - The first match of the day may not be a long one, with Karolina Muchova a set up after just 22 minutes against exciting talent Alexandra Eala, winning the opener 6-0.

15:00 CET - Hello and welcome to Flashscore's live coverage of the 2026 Miami Open!

We're a week into one of tennis' biggest non-Grand Slam tournaments, and there's already been plenty of drama, with men's top seed Carlos Alcaraz and women's second seed Iga Swiatek both knocked out already.

There are numerous top players still standing, though, and many of those on the women's side will be going up against each other today, with young stars Mirra Andreeva and Victoria Mboko facing off before Aryna Sabalenka takes on Qinwen Zheng in a repeat of the 2024 Australian Open final and US Open runner-up Amanda Anisimova meets 12th seed Belinda Bencic.

There's plenty to look forward to on the men's side too, with Daniil Medvedev, reigning champion Jakub Mensik, Alexander Zverev and Jannik Sinner all in action.
