Tottenham have confirmed the signing of Ghana winger Mohammed Kudus from fellow Premier League club West Ham.

Kudus joins Spurs for a reported £55 million and becomes their fifth signing of the summer.

Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Luka Vuskovic and Kota Takai have already signed for the North London club, in a boost to new manager Thomas Frank, who is a big reason Kudus chose to join.

"The most important part of why I come here is the project, and how the manager sees I can develop under him," said Kudus.

"Where he's come from and seeing the amount of talent he's developed to become great players, it's a big sign of why I wanted to work under him as well."

Kudus joined West Ham from Dutch giants Ajax in 2023, going on to score 13 goals in 65 Premier League appearances for the Hammers.

He began his professional career with Danish club Nordsjaelland, whom he signed for after excelling at the Right to Dream academy in Ghana.

"I moved to Denmark, very big difference in culture," said the Ghanaian. "Played there two seasons, went to Amsterdam. Two and a half seasons, then West Ham."

"That's what the journey has been, and using my God-given talent to have an impact on where I'm coming from and change the lives of people in my family as well.

Tottenham are in pre-season action later this month, against Reading on July 19th.
