Andoni Iraola is spearheading a new era at Liverpool, and it isn't just incomings that will concern him this summer.

Several players have confirmed their departure from Anfield, most notably Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah, with more set to follow.

Cody Gakpo is one player on the chopping block after a disappointing campaign last term. The 27-year-old scored just seven Premier League goals as Liverpool finished fifth in the top-flight.

Known for frustrating fans with his wasteful end product, Gakpo's departure from Merseyside is entirely possible once the transfer window opens, and he isn't short of suitors.

Newcastle United, Bayern Munich, and Tottenham have all shown an interest in the versatile Dutchman, who could command a sizeable fee since he has four years left on his contract.

Crucially, though, Soccer News reports that Gakpo is "open to a summer transfer," potentially opening the door for the winger to exit the club this summer.

Gakpo is currently preparing for the Netherlands World Cup campaign, where he's expected to play a pivotal role, starting with a clash against Japan on Sunday.

However, whilst the World Cup is taking priority, the Liverpool forward will have one eye on his future at club level ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
