Former Germany coach Jurgen Klinsmann has put his hand up for the Tottenham job.

With Spurs sitting one point outside the Premier League relegation zone, it's been suggested that winless caretaker manager Igor Tudor could soon be removed.

And Tottenham's former striker Klinsmann admits he has an interest in the coaching job - if it becomes vacant.

He told ESPN: "Who wouldn't want the job? It's Tottenham.

"Whoever you choose, you need a person who can make emotional contact with everyone, who knows the club, who knows the club, who knows the people.

"To get out of this mess, they need to develop a fighting spirit, a really nasty, ugly fighting spirit, and that only applies to the emotions.

"So you don't have to bring in someone who is the mastermind behind tactical things or whatever it is, you need someone to get everyone on board and get these matches completed in a positive way and get everyone to stand behind the fact that they risk going down to the Championship.

"So no matter who you put in charge now, it's just about the emotions, the will to suffer and fight and maybe take the ball from some ball boys at the sideline."
