Two of the competition's biggest clubs, Fenerbahce and Forest failed to live up to expectations in the league phase, missing out on a top-eight spot, and now only one of them will advance to the round of 16, with them contesting one of the eight two-legged playoffs.
Sean Dyche's men aren't the only British club to be handed a tough draw, with Celtic going up against one of Germany's best sides in Stuttgart.
In each of the February ties, the higher-seeded side will play the second leg at home, and the exact times and dates of the fixtures will be specified later on Friday.

When are the knockout play-offs?
The first legs of the knockout play-offs will take place on February 19th, and the second legs will be on February 26th.
The eight winners of the knockout play-offs will progress to the round of 16, where they will be drawn against the sides which finished first to eighth in the league phase. Those sides in order of final rank are:
1. Lyon (FRA), 2. Aston Villa (ENG), 3. Midtjylland (DEN), 4. Betis (SPA), 5. FC Porto (POR), 6. Braga (POR), 7. Freiburg (GER), 8. AS Roma (ITA).
The next draw, which is for the round of the 16, plus the remaining bracket, will take place on Friday, February 27th, after the second legs of the knockout play-offs. The round of 16 will begin on March 12th.
