The game had been brought forward to 15:30 CET, but due to updated adverse weather forecasts, which say the storm is arriving on the Dutch mainland earlier than expected, the kickoff time was changed again.
Authorities requested the change after forecasters issued a Code Orange alert for strong winds exceeding 100 km/h, the Rotterdam-based club said late on Wednesday. UEFA and Feyenoord had previously agreed that the game could only proceed with the earlier start.
"Feyenoord realizes that this change is very last-minute and may affect existing plans, especially for supporters with tickets. However, the club also considers this a case of force majeure," Feyenoord said in a statement.
The club also confirmed that fans unable to attend can request refunds, with details to be shared next week.
