An entertaining half saw Feyenoord get back within one again through Oussama Targalline, who was there to tap in an easy goal and make the final fifteen minutes an all-or-nothing scenario for Feyenoord.

A late charge from Feyenoord could not change the outcome, which was a crucial win for reigning champions PSV, who joined Feyenoord on 25 points at the top of the league, but down on goal difference.
