GK: Jari De Busser (Go Ahead Eagles) - 8.3

In his second consecutive clean sheet and second in the Eredivisie since October 26th, Jari De Busser was back to his usual quality self. The Belgian stopper made 7 saves and prevented an xG of 1.86 in Go Ahead Eagles' first away win in the league since September.

DEF: Bart van Rooij (FC Twente) - 8.2

FC Twente ran the show against Feyenoord, who were confidently beaten 2-0 in Enschede. Right-back Bart van Rooij was pivotal in Twente's win, creating four chances and winning 9/10 duels, along with winning 5/7 tackles. A fantastic outing on both sides of the ball for the Twente star.

DEF: Iván Márquez (Fortuna Sittard) - 8.8

This weekend belonged to Fortuna Sittard. Danny Buijs' men dominated third-placed NEC in their own backyard and won the game 3-2. From the back, it was Spaniard Iván Márquez who ran a tight ship in the home of his former employers, winning 11 of 15 duels, 10 of which came in the air. Márquez also scored Fortuna's first goal.

DEF: Justin Hubner (Fortuna Sittard) - 8.0

Alongside Márquez, Indonesian international Justin Hubner barely put a foot wrong and scored the deciding 3-1 in the 65th minute. Hubner completed 16 of 19 passes, won 5 of 7 duels, and cleared the ball 8 times in a pivotal win for the Limburg outfit.

MID: Ivan Perisic (PSV) - 8.7

Ivan Perisic played a near-flawless game in PSV's commanding 3-0 win over Heracles Almelo on Saturday. The Croatian star scored the opener from the spot and was a constant offensive threat with four shots, three of which were on target, one created chance, and 23/29 completed passes. The 37-year-old also won one tackle and recorded an interception.

MID: Stije Resink (FC Groningen) - 8.7

FC Groningen captain Stije Resink played an excellent game before disaster struck when the midfielder ruptured his cruciate ligament in the second half. In his 52 minutes of football, Resink completed all of his 22 passes, won 7/8 duels, created a chance, and scored the opener in the 16th minute.

Now, a rehabilitation period of 9 to 12 months awaits the Groningen star. A cruel fate for a brilliant young player.

MID: Mohammed Ihattaren (Fortuna Sittard) - 9.5 (Player of the Week)

Márquez and Hubner led from the back, but none of Fortuna's success from last Saturday could have come without the impeccable Mohammed Ihattaren. The former PSV wunderkind scored a brilliant 2-1 and assisted both Márquez's and Hubner's goals.

In total, Ihattaren created 5 chances, completed 21 of 27 passes - 11 of which in the final third - and won possession a team-high 8 times. An all-round fantastic performance from the Moroccan maestro, who deservedly wins our Player of the Week award.

MID: Sondre Orjasaeter (FC Twente) - 8.9

It was a long wait for Orjasaeter, who arrived in Enschede from Norway with heaps of promise. Against Feyenoord, one of the biggest teams in the country, the winger scored his first league goal in a terrific game that included 6 successful dribbles, 7 won duels, 3 created chances, and, to top it all off, 1 assist and 1 brilliant goal.

FW: Patrick Brouwer (Telstar) - 9.0

Our Eredivisie Team of the Week usually has a strict minutes-played criterion, with each player having to play at least 30 minutes. However, there are exceptions to the rule. Recently, it was Shaqueel van Persie. Now, it's Patrick Brouwer.

Only last year, Brouwer was an amateur footballer playing at Quick Boys. Last weekend, Brouwer was a game-changer in the Eredivisie with one assist and one goal during his 19-minute cameo against NAC Breda. If it weren't for a brilliant save from Daniel Bielica, it would've been two goals, too. Immediate impact.

FW: Brandley Kuwas (FC Volendam) - 7.8

Kuwas wasn't involved much in Volendam's game and only played one half before being replaced by Robert Mühren, but the Curaçao forward put his mark on the game by levelling the game in the seventh minute of added time in the first half. He also created a chance with one of his four passes in the first half.

FW: Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp (Telstar) - 8.5

If Telstar were to survive the drop this season, Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp will largely be to thank for that. The Almere City loanee scored two goals in Telstar's 3-0 win over NAC Breda, bringing his season total to 7 goals. Telstar's massive win brings them three points closer to NAC and Excelsior, who are one and five points away from the relegation-threatened White Lions.
