"The decision has been communicated to the player and his backers in a personal meeting. The reason is a disciplinary incident that took place during a team training, which means that the Dane will train individually until the end of the season", says the club in a comment to TV2 Sport.
Bischoff's last appearance to date came in the 0-1 home defeat against Rapid in mid-March. After that, Bischoff wasn't in the matchday squad against Sturm Graz and Hartberg. During the home game against LASK last Friday, Salzburg confirmed that there had been a disciplinary incident during training.
Bischoff and his management were informed that the suspension would last until the end of the season and that he would no longer be allowed to train with the team. Instead, the attacking midfielder has to work individually on the training pitch for the remaining weeks.
The 20-year-old Dane moved from Brondby to Salzburg last summer and has struggled to break into the starting-eleven. In 24 competitive appearances for Salzburg, Bischoff scored two goals and made five assists.
