Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane became the quickest player in history to score 100 goals for a club in Europe's top five leagues, achieving the feat in just 104 games after netting a brace against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

The England captain bagged a penalty in the first half to put the Germans 2-0 up following Luis Diaz's opener, before slotting home in the second half to break the record previously held by Erling Haaland (Manchester City) and Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), who both did it in 105 games.

Kane has been in utterly electrifying form for Bayern this season, scoring 10 goals in five league games. He also has 16 in all competitions for club and country in just 10 appearances.

He has over twice as many league goals as teammate Diaz (four), who sits second in the Bundesliga goalscorer standings.

Bayern went on to win the game 4-0, with Konrad Laimer getting on the scoresheet. They sit at the summit of the Bundesliga with five wins from five, scoring 22 goals in the process.
