Former Brondby defensive ace leaves Salzburg after only six months to join Kaiserslautern

After only six months in the services of Red Bull Salzburg , the former Brondby defensive ace Jacob Rasmussen, has signed a permanent contract with 2. Bundesliga outfit Kaiserslautern.

During his time in Salzburg, he made an impressive 32 appearances in 35 matches (including the FIFA Club World Cup) before joining the sixth-placed team in the German second division.

"I would like to thank FC Red Bull Salzburg for the past few months. It was only a short time, but I felt very comfortable at the club and in the city. The move to Kaiserslautern is an exciting new challenge that I'm really looking forward to. I wish everyone at the club the best of luck for the rest of the season", says Jacob Rasmussen to club website.
