Defeat to Vasteras last time out coupled with a win for Elfsborg at the start of the round had seen Djurgarden lose third place, but their woe continued as they lost at home in the Tvillingderbyt to an AIK side who have taken third spot for themselves.
The opening goal for AIK was not the winner, but it was worthy of winning any game - a dinked cross from Dino Besirovic on the right was slammed into the top corner on the volley by Linus Carlstrand with less than nine minutes on the clock.
Things got better for Gnaget midway through the half when the ball was worked quickly out to Adrian Helm on the left, and his low drilled cross was turned in at the back post by Carlstrand, completing a brace for the second match in a row.
AIK were in dreamland before the break, as Djurgarden gave Kevin Filling acres of space down the left side to work his way into the box and square the ball across for Johan Hove to tap in the visitors' third.

It was 2-0 just seven minutes later when Arman Taranis turned his man expertly on the right and got to the byline. His cutback was collected by Robin Dzabic, who went down under a challenge, but as the penalty appeals came in, Vukojevic collected the ball and fired in from six yards, joining AIK's Carlstrand on successive braces.
The point were all but secured inside half an hour, when a deep cross was headed back across goal by Nikolai Skuseth, picking out Samba Diatara who stretched out a leg and diverted the ball into the bottom corner.
Goteborg were fortunate not to be further behind by the break, before they created minimal chances in the second half against a side who were happy with their lead. It's the end of a two-match winning run in the league for Blavitt, while Degerfors kept a clean sheet for the first time since April.
GAIS welcomed Malmo to Gothenburg with the pair level on points and in inconsistent form in mid-table. Following a goalless first half, it looked as if something special was needed to separate them, but sadly for GAIS, it was something especially comical.

OIS had been threatening an equaliser, and it finally came just before the hour mark when Benjamin Laturnus won the ball high up the pitch, kept his composure as defenders surrounded him and finished with aplomb.
But that was as good as it got for the visitors, and in fact things got much worse four minutes later, when a simple backpass from Laturnus was completely miscontrolled by goalkeeper Hampus Gustafsson, as it rolled under his feet and into the empty net.
A well-worked corner late on then sealed the win for the Bromma Boys, as Lukas Bjorklund's shot took a big deflection to wrong-foot Gustafsson, who was helpless on this occasion. BP are back up to 10th, while it's two losses in a row for Orgryte.
