The New England Patriots defeated the Denver Broncos 10-7 as they advanced to Super Bowl LX, where they'll await the winner between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham threw an interception to Patriots defensive back Christian Gonzalez with 2:11 left in the game that ended Denver's Super Bowl hopes.

Patriots QB Drake Maye finished the game with the team's only touchdown as he also put up 151 total yards (86 passing) on 10-of-21 passing and 10 carries.

Maye came out with a clutch first down on a 3rd & 5 on a rollout play that would seal the deal, sending them to their first Super Bowl since 2018.

He will be the second-youngest quarterback to ever start a Super Bowl - second to the legendary Hall of Famer Dan Marino.

Teammate Rhamondre Stevenson led all rushers with 71 yards on 25 carries.

First half

The first half, which saw no snow at all, still saw a total of nine punts, five sacks, four three-and-outs, a turnover-on-downs, a fumble, and just two scores between both teams combined.

Both headed into the second half with just a total of 14 first downs and 221 total yards (NE - 72, DEN - 149).

The first big play of the game came from a 52-yard pass from Stidham to Marvin Mim's Jr. that would soon set up the first touchdown of the game.

Denver got on the board first two plays later as they capped off their five-play, 59-yard drive with a six-yard touchdown pass from Stidham to Courtland Sutton

It was the first touchdown that Stidham had thrown since January 7, 2024, in a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders

After three punts, the Broncos had a chance to put up three points on the board to make it 10 at the start of the second quarter, but failed on a 4th & 1 conversion.

New England would punt, but force a strip-sack on Stidham to get the ball once more, where they finally took advantage.

It took just two plays and 12 yards for the Pats to finally get on the board after Maye ran it in for a six-yard score to tie it up 7-7.

The next four drives to close out the half would be two straight punts and two straight missed field goals from both teams, keeping the score at 7-7 at halftime.

Broncos kicker Wil Lutz missed from 54-yards out, giving the Pats just enough time to get into position for their own attempt.

Then, New England kicker Andy Borregales missed from 63 yards out.

Both of the misses from each of their kickers were their first field goal attempts of the game.

Second half

In what started to become a blizzard, for the first time all game, the Pats eventually took the lead after driving down the field for 64 yards on a whopping 16 plays that took up 9:31 of the third quarter clock.

Borregales would hit a 23-yard field goal to make it 10-7. Luckily, he did as he would go on to miss yet another field goal as the game started seeing heavy snowfall just before the end of the third quarter.

Denver did not have a first down in the second half until 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

After being forced to punt, then getting the ball back, Lutz would miss another field goal after Leonard Taylor tipped the kick up the middle, giving New England the ball on their own 35-yard line with 4:42 left in the game.

And that's all it took. Neither team would score with the remaining time.
