Predators 3-2 Capitals
Ovechkin got things started for the Caps to put them up 1-0 just six minutes into the game. It was his 20th goal of the season and career No. 917 as he continues to build on his all-time record.
He reached 20 goals for the 21st consecutive season, surpassing Ron Francis for the second-most in NHL history. He's now just one behind Gordie Howe (22) to tie for the most all-time.
It also marked four straight games with at least one goal for Ovi. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough.
After his goal to start the matchup, the Preds would score three straight en route to a win.
They'd improve to 21-20-4, while the Caps fell to 23-17-6.
Jets 4-3 Devils
The Devils got out to a 3-2 lead thanks to a pair of goals from Cody Glass (9) and one from Nico Hischier (13).
It would be Glass' first multi-goal game since the 2023-2024 season when he put up a hat trick against the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 2, 2024.
But Gabriel Vilardi (18) would tie it up for the Jets 3-3 heading into the third and final frame.
Almost seven minutes into the third, Tanner Pearson (6) would send home the go-ahead and eventual game-winner past Devils goaltender Jake Allen as the Hers improved to 17-22-5.
New Jersey fell to 22-21-2, having lost four straight, and are now 2-7-1 in their last 10.
Bruins 1-0 Penguins
Boston is now riding a three-game win streak and all it took was one goal from Vikto Arvidsson, his ninth on the year, and 27 saves from goaltender Joonas Korpisalo.
It would be Korpisalo's second shutout of the season and the eighth of his career.
The Bruins improved to 25-19-2, sitting at 52 points right below the second Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference.
Pittsburgh fell to 21-14-9 and have lost back-to-back games following what was a six-game win streak.
Blue Jackets 3-2 Mammoth
Mikael Pyythia scored his first goal of the season and the fifth of his career to put Columbus up 1-0.
Jack McBain (5) and Michael Sergachev (7) would answer back with two goals for the Mammoth to take the lead.
But Charlie Coyle (7) took advantage of a power play to tie it all up at two apiece.
After a scoreless third period, Dmitri Voronkov (16) would also take advantage of a power play to score the game-winner for the Blue Jackets as they improved to 19-19-7.
Utah fell to 22-20-4.
Golden Knights 7-2 Sharks
Tomas Hertl put up a single-game career-high five points with two goals and three assists in the big win over San Jose.
Teammate Jack Eichel also joined him in scoring a pair of goals, bringing his season total up to 16 (Hertl up to 18).
The Knights extended their Pacific Division lead with the win, improving to 21-11-2, extending their win streak to four games.
San Jose dropped to 23-19-3.
