Welcome to Flashscore's NFL 'Rookie of the Year' tracker where we will be constantly updating the rankings week-to-week for both offensive and defensive rookies!

After Week 5's action, here are the top rookies heading into Week 6!

Offensive 'Rookie of the Year' Rankings

1. Tyler Warren (TE) - Indianapolis Colts

Warren is really starting to pull away from the pack heading into Week 8. He continues to lead all tight ends across the league with 439 receiving yards and all rookies, both wide receiver and tight end, with 33 receptions.

The standout rookie tight end has now gone three straight weeks scoring at least one touchdown and now back-to-back weeks with at least 60+ receiving yards on four or more receptions (five or more targets).

Warren also surpassed Dallas Clark for the fourth-most receiving yards in a rookie season by a Colts tight end before last week. Now, he needs just 288 more yards to surpass Baltimore Colts Hall of Famer John Mackey.

If the other rookies don't step up and quickly, Warren is going to run away with the award.

2. Quinshon Judkins (RB) - Cleveland Browns

After falling to No. 5 following a rough Week 6, Judkins has skyrocketed his way up to No. 2 on the board after a bounce-back Week 7.

The rookie back for Cleveland put up three touchdowns with 84 yards during Sunday's win against the Dolphins. He leaped over rookie RB Ashton Jeanty in both yards and touchdowns on the year as he sits at 467 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.

Judkins is currently 11th in the NFL in rushing, but is just 60 yards apart from Lions RB Jahmyr Gibbs for fifth-most. So the gap isn't that big in the rankings. The rookie has averaged below 4.0 yards per carry the past two weeks.

But if he keeps getting the workload of 20+ carries per game, Judkins could be the prime target to give Warren a run for the award come the end of the season.

3. Emeka Egbuka (WR) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Egkuba continues to slip in the rankings and is now down another spot after another down game this past week against the Detroit Lions.

He was targeted a team-leading 12 times, but came up with 58 yards on four receptions. The rookie could've possibly eclipsed 100 yards and added two touchdowns to his day on Sunday, but quarterback Baker Mayfield underthrew him both times, each resulting in an incompletion.

Egbuka still has the seventh-most receiving yards on the year for all NFL wide receivers and there's no doubt he'll bounce back in a major way with the amount of targets he's racking up.

It's just all a matter of whether or not his hamstring continues to cause any further issues.

4. Ashton Jeanty (RB) - Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty falls one spot from last week after putting up just 21 yards on six carries in the Raiders' Week 7 loss to the Chiefs

Although not much is to be blamed on Jeanty. The Raiders were forced to pass as they were playing from behind the entire game, which ended in a 31-0 blowout.

He still has 531 total yards and five touchdowns this season, so don't take his falling to fourth as if he's out of contention. But it looks like after seven weeks, being on the Raiders is starting to get to him.

How will that affect his play going forward? We'll see.

5. Tetairoa McMillan (WR) - Carolina Panthers

After posting at least 60+ yards on eight or more targets in four of the first five games of the season, McMillan has now averaged 31 yards over the past two games, each of which he had three receptions on five targets.

Whether it's teams spotlighting him now that they know he's Bryce's favourite target or the surge of running back Rico Dowdle has anything to do with it, McMillan is starting to slip in the race as his numbers drop - granted, he did lineup against Sauce Gardner this past week.

These five are without a doubt the candidates this year unless someone else surges ahead, but McMillan is in a battle with guys like Warren and Egbuka above him and guys like Cam Skattebo and Jaxson Dart behind him.

Another bad week would mean he's out of the top five for the first time this season. And with Bryce Young out with a high ankle sprain, that could spell trouble for McMillan's production.

Defensive 'Rookie of the Year' Rankings

1. Carson Schwesinger (LB) - Cleveland Browns

The Browns linebacker led his defensive unit with seven total tackles against the Dolphins in Week 7 and put up a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry on his lone pressure.

But Schwesinger is starting to be targeted in coverage more and it could hurt his standing in the DROTY rankings towards the end of the year. He gave up 24 yards on two catches (two targets) this past week and missed a tackle for the second time in three weeks.

That's now seven straight targets Schwesinger has given up the past two weeks for a total of 98 yards and an average opponent passer rating of 115.2.

The rookie is still a major player in the NFL's No. 2 defence and could easily keep his spot if he has a good game against the Patriots this week. But he needs to get better in coverage.

His 59 tackles still lead all rookies and are just 11 short of tying Jamien Sherwood (NYJ) and Cedric Gray (TEN) for third-most in the league.

2. Jihaad Campbell (LB) - Philadelphia Eagles

Campbell continues to remain steady himself. However, he won't be moving up this week after putting up just three tackles in 60 snaps, including a missed tackle.

But he did create a quarterback hurry on his lone pressure this past week and continues to be great help in pass coverage, allowing just two receptions on three targets for 14 yards.

He fell to third on the team in tackles, putting up 43 on the year, along with one tackle for loss, one interception, two pass deflections, and a forced fumbles.

Campbell has now given up 152 yards on 13 receptions (17 targets) and one touchdown.

3. Jacob Parrish (CB) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jacob Parrish, after a great Week 6, got picked apart by a stout Lions offence in Week 7. The rookie corner gave up 47 yards and a touchdown on three receptions (four targets) with 25 yards after the catch.

His season totals are now at 35 tackles, three tackles for loss, three pass deflections, and one sack - still looking for his first NFL interception.

Parrish didn't fall this week because his run-stopping abilities and durability cannot be overlooked. He has 16 to Johnson's two.

So, unless he really starts to dip in the coverage, Parrish is going to remain ahead of Johnson for the time being.

4. Will Johnson (CB) - Arizona Cardinals

Johnson had another great week in coverage and continues to prove to be the best rookie cover-corner in the 2025 draft class - he just needs to stay healthy.

In 30 coverage snaps, he gave up two receptions (three targets) for 40 yards, only five of which came after the catch. But his three penalties were not only the most from him in a single game this season, but his first three the entire season.

That's now more than Parrish's two, which is another case for keeping him at No. 4 on the list.

He has three more pass breakups (5) than Parrish (2), in three fewer games to boot. But he'll need to do more than just post a better "coverage grade" if he wants to climb the DROTY rankings.
