The 28-year-old was also the first player this season to reach both 40 and 50 home run marks, as well as the 100 RBI mark. He also won the Home Run Derby this year in his first-ever year participating.

Seattle currently holds a one-game lead over the Astros in the American League west division with just seven games left. Should they win the division, it'll be the first time for Seattle since 2001 - same year they lost in the American League Championship Series to the New York Yankees.
