Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid was asked on Monday whether or not he will be reprising his role next year after heading into the final game of this season with a 6-10 record.

It'll be just the second time during Reid's time in Kansas City that they'll be missing the playoffs after they were eliminated from contention after their 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on December 14th.

This will be the first season the Chiefs have ever ended with a losing record under Reid.

Since becoming the head coach for the Chiefs in 2013, Reid has led the team to three Super Bowl victories and nine straight AFC West titles (2016-2024). His 212 wins with the Chiefs are the most by a head coach in franchise history and is now two away from tying his 214 he had under the Philadelphia Eagles

He's just 24 more wins away from surpassing legendary New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick on the all-time list and exactly 50 away from surpassing Don Shula for the most ever.

Kansas City will finish their season on Sunday, January 4th, against the Las Vegas Raiders.
