It is quarter-finals day at Indian Wells, with some scintillating match-ups on the cards on both the men's and women's side of the competition. Who can book their spots in the semi-finals of one of tennis' most prestigious competitions?

18:53 CET - We are just minutes away from the players taking to court, and you can follow the first two matches of the day below:

Aryna Sabalenka vs Victoria Mboko

Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fils

17:00 CET - A blockbuster day of quarter-finals is ahead of us, with the scorching Californian sun beating down on the courts of Indian Wells.

Play gets underway at 19:00 CET, as Aryna Sabalenka continues her quest for a maiden Indian Wells title, as she comes up against the supreme teen talent Victoria Mboko.

The pair have faced off just once before, with Sabalenka winning at the Australian Open 6-1, 7-6(1). However, Mboko continues to go from strength to strength, and after thrashing Amanda Anisimova in the last 16, she will be hoping to cause another upset.

That is followed by a meeting between Linda Noskova and 21-year-old qualifier Talia Gibson, before two-time champion Iga Swiatek looks to continue her excellent performances at this tournament against the in-form Elina Svitolina.

Overnight, Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina takes on Jessica Pegula in a clash between two stars playing some fabulous tennis right now.

Rybakina leads the head-to-head 4-3, but has won their last three meetings, including at Melbourne at the start of the year. The last time Pegula beat Rybakina was back in 2023.

Over on the men's side of the tournament, Alexander Zverev faces young gun Arthur Fils, who continues to shine on his return from injury. The pair have been involved in some high-quality contests before, so expect more of the same.

Another improving young star, Learner Tien, then has a huge test against world number two Jannik Sinner. Their only previous match came in the Beijing final, which Sinner won in a one-sided affair.

Jack Draper, who was involved in arguably the best match of 2026 so far against Novak Djokovic less than 24 hours ago, will have to recover quickly when he faces Daniil Medvedev in the night session.

Finally, world number one and two-time champion Carlos Alcaraz comes up against Cameron Norrie. Interestingly, the Brit has caused Alcaraz problems before, beating the Spaniard three times - including in their last meeting in Paris.

However, conditions are completely different at Indian Wells, and Alcaraz will be the big favourite.
