Sidney Crosby tied Penguins legend Mario Lemieux in career assists with 1,033 assists in the NHL in 1,308 games in the team's win over the Flyers.
“Obviously, I didn't ever think I'd be close to that,” said Crosby.“I've played a lot of games. He played a lot less than I did. It's what happens when you play long enough.”
Lightning 4-0 Panthers
Lightning goalie Jonas Johansson made 36 saves to give Tampa Bay the shutout victory over the Panthers on Monday. “I feel confident, comfortable, and the team has been really solid in front of me which makes my life a whole lot easier,” said Johansson. “It was a really good team effort.”
