Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting right guard Cody Mauch suffered a season-ending knee injury during Monday night's matchup against the Houston Texans, which he ultimately played through until the end of the game.

Mauch was in his third NFL season (all with Tampa Bay) and had started every game since being drafted until his injury.

It's expected that the team will sign Dan Feeney off the practice squad.

The 26-year-old is coming off a 2024 season where he finished as the 18th-ranked guard out of 136. Mauch was rated the 11th-best pass-blocking guard in all of football, giving up just two sacks and one quarterback hit on 696 pass blocking snaps.

In 90 pass blocking snaps this season, he has given up one sack and two pressures.

Tampa Bay will now be without Mauch for the year and possibly right tackle Luke Goedeke as well, who was said to have suffered a significant foot injury.

Left tackle Tristan Wirfs has yet to see the field this season as well.

The Bucs also lost defensive tackle Calijah Kancey for the season with a torn pectoral muscle that he suffered during Monday night's game against Houston as well.

Tampa Bay's next game is on Sunday, September 21st, against the New York Jets
