Snowboard: Women's slopestyle final

13:00 CET - Livigno Snow Park

Reigning Olympic and world champion Zoi Sadowski-Synnott of New Zealand will head into the final as the one to beat after she stamped her authority on the qualification with a best score of 88.08, improving on her first-run mark of 81.73 to finish in first place.

The competitors will put on a show during three runs to make an impression on the judges, with their best score counting.

Japan’s Murase Kokomo, who won big air gold ahead of Synnott, finished closely behind her in the qualification round with a score of 84.93, while Republic of Korea rider Yu Seungeun took third place with 76.80, to underline her status among the medal contenders.

Two-time Olympic big air champion Anna Gasser qualified for the final in fifth place with a score of 73.50, through a course that has been labelled as physically demanding.

British teenager Mia Brookes will be a dark horse in the final as she aims to become Olympic slopestyle champion, something no Briton has achieved before these Games.

Men's two-man bobsleigh

19:00 CET -  Cortina Sliding Centre (Eugenio Monti Olympic Sliding Centre)

Johannes Lochner (GER), who has secured six World Cup victories in the Olympic season, the overall title, and European Championship gold, is set to bring down the curtain on a glorious career after the Games. After winning silver in 2022, Lochner has his sights set on Olympic victory in Cortina with record-breaking partner Francesco Friedrich.

It could turn into a German affair at the Cortina Sliding Centre as the 2024 European Champion Adam Ammour will go into the event as a potential favourite, along with athletes from the USA, Korea, Switzerland, and Great Britain.

Especially Frank Del Duca, the USA’s flag bearer at the opening ceremony in Cortina, is expected to play a big role. Del Luca is in the midst of enjoying the best World Cup season of his career, as he has finished in the top six at six out of seven races.

The local crowd will put their faith in the experienced Patrick Baumgartner, who already knows how it feels to win a gold medal at the Winter Games after winning the two-man Bobsleigh race at the first-ever Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in Innsbruck in 2012.

Freestyle skiing: Men's big air final

19:30 CET - Livigno Snow Park

Slopestyle Olympic champion and defending champion Birk Ruud will have his heart set on claiming a second freestyle skiing gold medal at the men's Big Air final on Tuesday.

Ruud could, however, have his hands full trying to fend off the challenge of New Zealand's Luca Harrington, who will be aiming to add the Olympic title to the world title and World Cup title he won last season.

Also, 2020 Youth Olympic champion Matej Svancer of Austria could make an impact in the final after he finished in second place in the qualification.

Ruud's compatriot Tormod Frostad recorded the highest score in a single run during the qualification round after bouncing back from an early fall.

Spectators should also be aware of the 2023 world champion and 2024 X Games champion Troy Podmilsak, who has a habit of putting in his best performances when the stakes are high. The Italian crowd will no doubt be behind Miro Tabanelli, a 21-year-old Italian who claimed X Games gold in 2025.
