According to the plan, Holger Rune was supposed to be in the USA right now, where he was planned to attend a lot of sponsorship events in connection with the Indian Wells tournament while he is trying to get back to full fitness after sustaining a ruptured Achilles tendon last year.
Rune was supposed to fly out of Doha with his team on Sunday morning, but the flight was cancelled, and since then, it has not been possible for Rune and his crew to fly out of Qatar.
On Thursday morning, Rune is still in Qatar, where he is staying at the reputable sports hospital Aspetar. Aneke Rune tells TV 2 Sport.
