After nine days of action in the Spanish capital, four players remain to fight it out for the Madrid Open men's crown. Follow all the semi-final action with Flashscore.

23:54 CET - And then there were four. Two women and two men remain in the Madrid, and first up is the WTA final, which will be contested tomorrow evening by world number one Aryna Sabalenka and world number four Coco Gauff.

The clash will get underway at 18:30 CET, and you can follow it live with Flashscore. See you then!

22:17 CET - Jack Draper is a Madrid Open finalist! The Brit somehow hung in there in a second set in which Lorenzo Musetti produced some absolutely mesmerising tennis - some of the Italian's winners were jaw-dropping - to prevail 6-3, 7-6 in just under two hours.

Draper moves on to his second Masters 1000 of the season, while Musetti heads to his home tournament in Rome in great form. On tonight's evidence, both are going to make their mark at the French Open.

21:02 CET - Draper has produced an excellent opening set of tennis and leads Musetti 6-3. The Brit broke serve to move ahead 3-1 and then never looked like relinquishing the lead, not facing a single break point himself after that.

19:06 CET - The second semi-final is just under an hour away, and it's going to be a good one. Draper has been arguably the player of the season so far, and Musetti arguably the player of the clay-court season. If both perform as well as they have been, this is going to be a seriously high-quality clash.

18:06 CET - It's a first Madrid final for Casper Ruud, who has seen off Francisco Cerundolo 6-4, 7-5. The Norwegian's biggest asset in the game was his defence under pressure, saving 15 of 18 break points to get into Sunday's showpiece.

He will face either Jack Draper or Lorenzo Musetti, who get going in a little under two hours' time.

17:04 CET - A tight first set has gone the way of Ruud, who has claimed it 6-4 after breaking Cerundolo's serve in the final game. The Argentine had one more break point than the Norwegian, but only converted one to his opponent's two.

15:15 CET - The men's semi-finals are underway! Casper Ruud is serving first in his clash with Francisco Cerundolo, and you can follow every point of the battle here.

14:40 CET - Before we get to our first semi-final in around an hour's time, let's take a look ahead to the second match-up, which pits the in-form Jack Draper and Lorenzo Musetti.

The British number one, Draper, has been on fire in recent weeks, winning in Indian Wells last month and now seems to be adapting well to the surface in the Spanish capital.

He will need that nous from 20:00 CET as his opponent, Musetti, is a natural on the clay-court.

Knocking out the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alex De Minaur on his way to the final four, the Italian will jump into the top 10 next week regardless of the outcome tonight.

Draper has won all three encounters between the pair, can he make it four in the semi-final? Find out later on tonight.

12:15 CET - Good afternoon and welcome back to our tennis tracker, as we focus on the two intriguing semi-final clashes on the clay courts of Madrid.

Play is set to get going at 16:00 CET, with Francisco Cerundolo taking on Casper Ruud

For the Argentinian, it's been a year of progress, winning his 24th match of the season to reach the semi-finals, the most victories by any men's player in 2025.

In this tournament, he has already provided one eyebrow-raising victory, beating top seed Alexander Zverev in straight sets.

His runs, deep as they have been, have yet to feature a Masters-esque title. This is the furthest he has gone in this particular tournament, and he comes up against a Norwegian with whom he has some history.

The pair met in the Miami Masters semi-final back in 2022, with Ruud coming out on top, but it is Cerundolo who holds the lead in their head-to-head record with five wins to Ruud's three. On clay, they are evenly split with two wins apiece.
