Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva eased into her third consecutive French Open quarter-final with a comfortable victory over Switzerland's Jil Teichmann on Sunday.

The eighth seed made short work of her 170th-ranked opponent, moving quickly through the gears from 3-2 down in the opening set to win 6-3, 6-2.

"I still feel like I have a lot of experience to gain," said the 19-year-old.

Andreeva, who suffered a surprise loss to Frenchwoman Lois Boisson in the last eight 12 months ago, will take on Romanian veteran Sorana Cirstea on Tuesday as she targets a second semi-final in three years at Roland Garros.

There is guaranteed to be a first-time Grand Slam finalist from the bottom half of the draw, with the winner of Andreeva's clash with Cirstea to take on the victor of the all-Ukrainian quarter-final between Elina Svitolina and Marta Kostyuk.
