Several players stood out in a Premier League weekend that saw Liverpool clinch their 20th league title, while Ipswich's relegation back to the Championship was also confirmed.

The Reds secured the title with an emphatic 5-1 win against Tottenham, while Ipswich had their return to the second tier confirmed following a 3-0 defeat to Newcastle.

Elsewhere, Wolves cruised past Leicester and Fulham poured more misery on bottom-of-the-table Southampton with a last-minute 2-1 triumph.

It's time to look at who made our Premier League Team of the Week based on our player ratings system.

Goalkeeper

Jose Sa (Wolves) 7.5

Jose Sa stood out in a week with low goalkeeping scores in general, putting in a top performance as Wolves defeated Leicester 3-0.

The shot-stopper made two saves to help his side to a sixth consecutive win and eighth clean sheet of the season.

Defence

Kieran Trippier (Newcastle) 8.2

Newcastle have been on a superb run of form over the past month and built on their momentum with a 3-0 win to relegate Ipswich.

One of the Magpies' top performers was Kieran Trippier, who grabbed an assist during the second half after standing up a fantastic cross for Dan Burn to head home.

Joachim Andersen (Fulham) 8.4

Joachim Andersen excelled during Fulham's 2-1 comeback win against already-relegated Southampton.

The Dane put in a brilliant defensive showing with 13 clearances and three blocks while also winning 10 aerial duels to help keep the Cottagers' European hopes alive - they currently sit eighth in the table, which could be enough to secure a Conference League spot next season.

Dan Burn (Newcastle) 8.2

Burn scored in Newcastle's triumph over Ipswich after sending a towering header into the back of the net at the start of the second half.

The Englishman's influence was felt throughout the match, though, with five clearances, one block and one tackle.

Burn has enjoyed an outstanding 2025 so far and continues to cement himself as one of Newcastle's most important players.

Rayan Ait-Nouri (Wolves) 8.3

Rayan Ait-Nouri is the second of four Wolves players to feature in our Team of the Week after a superb showing against Leicester.

The defender has been one of the standouts throughout the season for Wolves and continued to contribute with an assist and a clean sheet in their latest victory.

Midfield

Alexis Mac Allister (Liverpool) 8.5

Liverpool's title coronation was marked with a dominant 5-1 win against Spurs, with Alexis Mac Allister the best player on the pitch on a momentous day for the Reds.

His 8.5 rating was the highest of any at Anfield on Sunday afternoon following a highly impressive display.

The Argentine contributed at both ends of the pitch with seven tackles, seven duels won, two key passes and one goal - a thunderous effort into the top corner from outside the penalty area.

Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool) 8.3

Another top performer over the weekend for Liverpool was Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Hungarian acted as the Reds' chief creative outlet throughout the match and provided two assists on top of a staggering eight key passes.

He was also unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after missing one big chance, although Szoboszlai still helped his side to a thumping victory and was perhaps slightly overshadowed by the magnificence of Mac Allister.

Rodrigo Gomes (Wolves) 8.3

Substitute Rodrigo Gomes rounded off Wolves' win over Leicester on Saturday.

The midfielder only featured for 13 minutes but made his cameo count with four successful dribbles, one key pass and a goal.

Gomes latched on to a clever pass from Matheus Cunha to slot calmly into the bottom corner late in the match.

Attack

Matheus Cunha (Wolves) 9.5

Cunha was by far the top performer across every fixture over the weekend and earned a 9.5 Flashscore player rating - making him our Premier League Player of the Week.

The Brazilian has been subject to several transfer rumors over the last few days, but showed no sign of discontent with an exceptional performance against Leicester.

Cunha opened the scoring before registering two assists, taking his overall goal contributions to 21 for the Premier League season.

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) 8.2

Cody Gakpo grabbed a goal in Liverpool's thrashing of Spurs, picking the ball up in a crowded penalty area before curling a lovely effort into the bottom corner.

The Dutchman now has an impressive nine Premier League goals for the season and continues to prove himself as an important component of Liverpool's title-winning attack.

Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) 8.8

Ryan Sessegnon netted a 92nd-minute winner in Fulham's triumph over Southampton on the weekend, heading home from close range to send the travelling supporters wild.

The Englishman has struggled for minutes over the past few seasons following a disappointing stint with Spurs, but his return to Fulham has appeared to revitalise his career - the 24-year-old has now contributed to four goals in his last five games.
