FC Porto striker Luuk de Jong was honoured by his former club PSV on Saturday. The Dutch international, who is currently injured, was inducted into the Eindhoven club's Walk of Fame, and the stadium's press room was named after him.

The physical problems that affected Luuk de Jong in the early stages of the season left the striker out of contention for the Portuguese Cup tie against Celoricense, but he took advantage of the weekend to travel to the Netherlands, where he was honoured.

The former PSV player was given a festive reception before the Eredivisie match with Go Ahead Eagles, and ended up being immortalised by the club, with the Philips Stadium press room now named 'Luuk de Jong Mediaroom', replacing the name of Ronaldo (Fenómeno).

De Jong also joined the club's walk of fame, in recognition of the 338 games and 186 goals he scored for PSV.

"Honestly, it's hard to find words to describe this moment," said the FC Porto player during the tribute.
