When one city containing three clubs delivers six players in one single Team of the Week, is there really any question whether Rotterdam is the football capital of the Netherlands?

Here are the eleven top performers from round 15 of the Eredivisie, according to Flashscore's in-house player rating system.

GK: Joel Drommel (Sparta Rotterdam) - 8.8

Joel Drommel's antics from Sparta's season opener against PSV have been long forgotten. The 29-year-old stopper has saved his team on several occasions and did so again in Sparta's 1-0 win over NAC Breda, recording eight saves and preventing a total xG of 2.38.

DEF: Jordan Bos (Feyenoord) - 8.2

After recovering from an injury, Australian left-back Jordan Bos still has to do with cameos while Gijs Smal plays from the start. As Bos is closing in on a full return, however, the Aussie proved his worth once again with his second assist of the season against PEC Zwolle.

Furthermore, in just 29 minutes, Bos created two chances, won four of his eight duels, and won possession three times. Imagine what he would've done in a full match?

DEF: Teo Quintero (Sparta Rotterdam) - 8.2

Sparta kept a clean sheet for the first time since November 25th, and had their Colombian star Teo Quintero to thank, at least in part. Quintero recorded 11 clearances and completed 35 of 40 attempted passes as Sparta beat NAC 1-0.

DEF: Mats Rots (FC Twente) - 8.3

Left-back Mats Rots earned FC Twente a point with his late goal against FC Utrecht and was a bright spot with his two successful dribbles, two won fouls, and two shots on target. A win wasn't to be for Twente, but I know they rest easy knowing they have Mats Rots in their squad.

MID: Melle Meulensteen (Go Ahead Eagles) - 8.4

Melle Meulensteen made all the difference against AZ, scoring both of the Eagles' two goals in a 2-2 draw in Alkmaar. Meulensteen was more than just a goal machine, though - the midfielder won possession an impressive 14 times, won two tackles, and recorded three interceptions.

MID: Quinten Timber (Feyenoord) - 9.1

Feyenoord's 6-1 win over PEC Zwolle was the big Ayase Ueda show, but also saw Quinten Timber play an excellent game. The Dutch international created six chances and was flawless in the final third by completing all 15 of his passes - more than any other Feyenoord player. Timber also won four duels and intercepted the ball twice.

MID: Ayoni Santos (Sparta Rotterdam) - 8.8

Along with Drommel, the young Ayoni Santos ran the show for Sparta against NAC Breda. The Cape Verdian-Dutch midfielder, who only made his professional debut in October of this year, absolutely stuffed the statsheets.

In only his fifth professional match, Santos completed three successful dribbles, won 11 of 15 duels, won possession seven times, created three chances, won four tackles, and completed seven of eight passes in the final third - a very, very impressive outing from the 20-year-old.

MID: Victor Jensen (FC Utrecht) - 8.2

He had to wait a long time for his return, but Danish starlet Victor Jensen picked up right where he left off before his hamstring injury.

Before picking up the injury against Zrinjski Mostar in late August, Jensen was absolutely vital to Utrecht's early success with ten goals in the first ten games of their season. Upon his full return against FC Twente, Jensen scored his fourth goal in five league games and created two chances, as well as winning possession five times.

MID: Joey Veerman (PSV) - 8.1

Will we ever see another Eredivisie Team of the Week without Joey Veerman? Unlikely, if you ask me.

PSV's midfield general scored yet another goal as PSV beat Heerenveen 2-0, making this his second-straight game with a goal against a former employer. Veerman also created two chances, completed 76 of 86 passes, a stunning 27 of which came in the final third. Veerman continues to be a driving force in PSV's fantastic campaign.

FW: Ayase Ueda (Feyenoord) - 10 (Player of the Week)

Was this the best attacking performance of the season? Ayase Ueda has shown everyone who's boss and did so again against PEC, whom the Japanese striker dismantled with a stunning four-goal performance.

Three of his goals came from headers, with the first being his best as Ueda beautifully converted on a diving header. The Eredivisie's top scorer scored four goals from four attempts on target, setting the example for strikers around the league as he's now on top with 18 goals - eight more than the next best player.

FW: Kento Shiogai (NEC) - 8.1

Unlike Super Aguri's attempt in 2006 with Yuji Ide and Takuma Sato (for all you Formula One enthusiasts out there), our Team of the Week boasts a formidable Japanese duo up front. Joining Ayase Ueda is NEC's Kento Shiogai, who has quickly established himself as one of the league's best supersubs.

Despite being used as a substitute in all of his last five league games, Shiogai scored four goals in as many games, with the latest a 95th-minute winner in last weekend's 3-2 away win over FC Volendam. The 20-year-old Japanese star has now scored four goals in his last 114 minutes, averaging one every 28.5 minutes. Surely, a spot in the starting XI can't be far away.
