07:58 CET - That is all today, and we will be back this afternoon ahead of the men's semi-finals! See you then.
03:00 CET - World number one Aryna Sabalenka is now one game away from completing the Sunshine Double after getting the better of Elena Rybakina 6-4, 6-3. It is a second win over the third seed in two weeks after coming out on top at Indian Wells.
This time, it was a smoother performance from Sabalenka, who lost just five points on her first serve. Breaking Rybakina four times from eight attempts, she prevails to now take on Coco Gauff in the final on Saturday.
02:15 CET - Aryna Sabalenka takes the first set against Elena Rybakina 6-4, getting her one step closer to reaching the final of the tournament. After trading breaks early on, the world number one, managed to break her Kazakh opponent in the final service game of the set to take it.
01:35 CET - The last match of the night will see a repeat of the Indian Wells final, as Aryna Sabalenka faces Elena Rybakina. What a game this will be, with the winner facing Coco Gauff in Saturday's final.

01:20 CET - In what was a clinical display, Alexander Zverev has booked his spot in the semi-finals of the Miami Open after beating Francisco Cerundolo 6-1, 6-2 in just over an hour. The world number three converted four of his seven break point opportunities, winning 84% of his first serve points. Next for him will be Jannik Sinner.
00:40 CET - That was an excellent opening set from Alexander Zverev, who takes it 6-1 over Francisco Cerundolo. The German did not face a break point in his four service games, winning the first five games.
23:41 CET - Not long to wait now for more action from Miami...
Alex Zverev is back in the quarter-finals this year after an early exit in 2024, where he will face the in-form Francisco Cerundolo.
The Argentine pulled off a big upset in the third round, beating Daniil Medvedev, before seeing off Ugo Humbert to seal a spot in the last eight.
They are evenly matched too, with both of them winning three of their six meetings.
21:39 CET - Coco Gauff was at her imperious best to down Czech star Karolina Muchova and book her spot in the Miami Open final.
The fourth seed needed just 90 minutes to dispatch the 13th seed, winning the encounter 6-1, 6-1.
Muchova struggled on her second serve throughout the match, winning just 20% of the points on it.
Gauff will face either Aryna Sabalenka or Elena Rybakina in Saturday's showpiece, with the pair set to take to the court around 01:30 CET tonight.
20:05 CET - The players are on court for the first women's semi-final, as Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova prepare to battle it out for a spot in the Miami final - which would be a first for both.
Gauff leads the head-to-head 5-0, so Muchova will need to find a way to get on top of this match-up.

19:23 CET - Jannik Sinner has produced a typically ruthless and cut-throat performance against Frances Tiafoe, crushing the American 6-2, 6-2 in an hour and 12 minutes to book his spot in the Miami semi-finals.
The 2024 champion continues to show the major improvements he has made on serve, hitting 14 aces while landing 70% of his first serves, not giving his opponent a look-in at all.
He has now won 30 straight sets at Masters 1000 events - extending the record he set recently - and he looks simply unstoppable at the moment as he tries to complete the 'Sunshine Double'. Alexander Zverev or Francisco Cerundolo await in the last four.
18:10 CET - Play is just minutes away from getting started, with Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe warming up on court in the first match of the day!

16:00 CET - Welcome back to our live coverage of the Miami Open, on a day where we will find out the women's finalists, as well as the last couple of men's semi-finalists.
Play gets underway at 18:00 CET, as world number two and tournament favourite Jannik Sinner looks to continue his phenomenal form at Masters 1000 level when he takes on home favourite Frances Tiafoe.
Sinner has won 28 sets in a row at Masters events, breaking Novak Djokovic's 10-year record. Tiafoe now stands in his way as he looks to complete the Sunshine Double (winning both Indian Wells and Miami).

The other men's semi-final sees the only other top-10 seed left in the competition, Alexander Zverev, meet Francisco Cerundolo.
If Zverev gets past Cerundolo, he will face Sinner in a rematch of their Indian Wells semi around two weeks ago, which Sinner won in thumping fashion. However, Cerundolo has been excellent in Miami, beating the in-form Daniil Medvedev to get here.
The head-to-head is locked at 3-3 between the pair, but Zverev has won their last three meetings after initially struggling against the Argentine.
The first women's semi-final sees fourth seed Coco Gauff clash with Karolina Muchova, as both players look to reach the Miami final for the first time.
Gauff has an extremely dominant record against Muchova, winning all five of their previous meetings - in pretty comfortable fashion, too.
However, Muchova is a player in fabulous form, and won her first 1000 event earlier this year in Doha. She will go into this contest with confidence, especially considering Gauff isn't playing that well at the moment.
The main event of the day comes in the second semi-final, as defending champion and world number one Aryna Sabalenka clashes with Elena Rybakina in what is currently women's tennis' best rivalry.
Sabalenka leads the head-to-head 9-7 and won their last meeting in an absolutely thrilling Indian Wells final. However, Rybakina won the two previous clashes, triumphing in the finals of the WTA Finals and Australian Open.

It is a wonderful rivalry between two players who hit the ball so hard but in slightly different fashion. Sabalenka exerts maximum effort and applies topspin, while Rybakina hits the ball so flat with such ice-cool effortlessness.
Let us hope for another cracker!
