The Denver Broncos opened the practice window for running back J.K. Dobbins this week, making him eligible for the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots should he be ready to go.

Dobbins missed the final seven games of the season after undergoing surgery for a Lisfranc foot injury (middlefoot ligament).

Through the first 10 games of the season, Dobbins posted 772 rushing yards on 153 carries (5.0 average) with four rushing touchdowns.

He still leads the team in rushing, as rookie backup running back RJ Harvey posted 540 rushing yards on 146 carries with seven rushing touchdowns.

Harvey has also put up 356 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 47 receptions.

Dobbins would be a major help for an offence who lost starting quarterback Bo Nix to a fractured ankle following the team's 33-30 overtime win against the Buffalo Bills during the AFC Divisional Round matchup this past weekend (watch the highlights here).

Nix finished the entire game, but was ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs.

Backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham will start in his place for the Patriots game, and the Super Bowl if the Broncos win the game. Stidham has not started a game since 2023.
