Like football, you can now follow specific hockey and basketball players. Just find a player via our search function or in the lineup of a given game and add them to your favourites.
The new feature is available in the Flashscore app for Android and iOS (from version 25.10). Update the app or download it from the App Store or Google Play.
What will you learn with the new feature?
- Hockey: You'll get alerts when your player gets a start, scores, assists, takes a penalty or gets a rating after a game.
- Basketball: You'll know when your favourite player has started, what rating they got from us and how their team's game went.
You can set the notifications to your liking. Either for all players in Settings → Notification Settings → Specific sport → Players tab, or individually directly via the bell on the player's profile.
You can manage your favourite players in the bottom menu of the app under the Favourites → Players tab, where you can easily edit the list and add new faces by clicking the plus button.
Remember, there's plenty more that we are bringing you to make sure you never miss a thing in the sporting world. You can add the Flashscore News widget to your home screen so you are always up to date and delve into more detailed footballing statistics with our revamped feature.
