Norwegian Olympic champion and Team Esbjerg profile, Nora Mork, says she could return to take part in the World Championships in December after she gave birth in the beginning of May.

"We have had a chat or two. She wants to make sure she is good enough, then she will probably be ready for the national team session when the time comes", says Norway's national team manager Ole Gustav Gjekstad to NTB.

"If I'm good enough and fit, I'm open to it. There is not much more I can say about it than we will see beyond the autumn and how things go", says Mork, who has played 192 matches for Norway.

Gjekstad states that Mork will not be present at the national team session in September, but:

"Hopefully, she has played so much and recovered fully so that she can join in October. This is the dialogue we have had so far", says Gjekstad.

She has won two gold medals and two silver medals at the IHF World Women's Handball Championship, five gold medals at the European Women's Handball Championship, and one Olympic gold medal and two Olympic bronze medals.
