Darts prodigy Luke Littler (17) beat Rob Cross (34) at the Players Championship Finals on Friday night, while Luke Humphries (29) also won.

'The Nuke' raced to a 6-0 triumph after just seven minutes in what was a resounding tournament debut.

Littler will face European Championship winner Ritchie Edhouse in Minehead tomorrow night.

World number one Humphries was able to overcome German Gabriel Clemens 6-2 to kick-off his title defence in style.

'Cool Hand Luke' will take on the Netherlands' Raymond van Barneveld in the next round. 

Earlier, Scotsman Peter Wright was beaten by Daryl Gurney and Stephen Bunting suffered a defeat to Belgian Mario Vandenbogaerde.
