The Dallas Mavericks signed forward P.J. Washington to a four-year, $90 million extension on Wednesday.

Washington's new deal will keep him on the team through the 2029-2030 season. He'll earn his original $14.1 million this upcoming season from his previous deal.

Washington averaged 14.7 points per game last season in 57 games (56 starts) - the highest since he posted 15.7 during the 2022-2023 season as a member of the Charlotte Hornets

The former 2019-2020 All-Rookie selection also averaged 7.8 rebounds (career-high), 2.3 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 1.1 steals last season.

Dallas inks one of their better players for another four years as they continue to move on without superstar Luka Doncic. The Mavericks recently selected Duke forward Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft this year.
