Bayern Munich are the Bundesliga champions for the second consecutive season after victory against Stuttgart on Sunday wrapped up the title in mid-April and with four games still to play.

Bayern Munich's 2025/26 Bundesliga title has long looked inevitable. In a season where they have lost just once and have already broken the record for the most goals scored in a Bundesliga campaign, Vincent Kompany's side have been a class above the rest.

After Borussia Dortmund's defeat to Hoffenheim on Saturday, Bayern knew that victory against high-flying Stuttgart on Sunday evening would wrap up the title. Their 4-2 victory was emphatic, and as the full-time whistle went, there were joyous scenes of celebrations on the pitch, in the stands and across Munich.

After a period where Bayern were far from their dominant best domestically or in Europe, Kompany has once again turned them into a serious force on both fronts in a season where the treble is alive and well.

Aside from a shock home defeat to Augsburg in January, it has been an utterly commanding campaign from Bayern, which included beating their closest rivals, Dortmund, on both occasions. Bayern also scored five goals or more on eight different occasions and have scored 109 goals in just 30 matches to break their own record from the 1971/72 season.

Bayern's front three of Harry Kane, Luis Diaz and Michael Olise have been the stars of the show for the Bavarian giants.

Kane is leading the Bundesliga scoring charts with a staggering 32 goals from just 27 games, Diaz has 15 goals and 13 assists, and Olise leads the assist standings with 18, whilst also scoring 12.

The trio has a remarkable 95 goal contributions between them, which is a huge percentage of Bayern's league goals this season.

Quite simply, it is the best attack in Europe, and it will take some stopping domestically and in Europe for years to come.

Bayern will bask in the glory of this league title for tonight at least, before their focus turns to the DFB Pokal semi-final in just three days as they face Bayer Leverkusen on April 22nd at 20:45 CET before the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against PSG on April 28th.
