In Flashscore's weekly feature, we take a brief look at the big talking points of the last seven days in the NBA. Right now, the Toronto Raptors are in sensational form, James Harden continues to show his class, while the Milwaukee Bucks are enduring a tough run.

Team of the Week: Toronto Raptors

I don't think many expected the Toronto Raptors to be so strong this season. Brandon Ingram, Scott Barnes and R.J. Barrett have been in top form, with the Canadian outfit winning four from four last week.

The Raptors have now won seven in a row - their longest winning streak since February 2022. Additionally, they are 11-1 from their last 12 games.

Sitting second in the Eastern Conference, there is a lot to be excited about as a Toronto fan. They have a very good chance of making the playoffs for the first time since 2022.

Underperformers of the Week: Milwaukee Bucks

After a decent start to the season, it has been a tough few games for the Milwaukee Bucks, coinciding with the groin injury to star man Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Defeats to the Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers last week extended their losing streak to four games, seeing them even slip out of the play-in tournament spots.

For a team with lofty ambitions at the start of the season, they will be hoping to manage the next few games as they await the return of Giannis.

Player of the Week: James Harden

Despite the major struggles of the Los Angeles Clippers, 36-year-old James Harden continues to show his quality and class.

28 and 31 point games against the 76ers and Orlando Magic, respectively, was followed by a stunning 55-point showing as the Clippers downed the Charlotte Hornets.

Those 55 points included 10 three-pointers, as he went on to set the Clippers' single-game scoring record.

It is unlikely that the Clippers are going to be much of a factor this season, but Harden is doing his best to make them somewhat competitive.

Play of the Week: Nikola Vucevic

The Chicago Bulls threw away a 21-point lead against the Portland Trail Blazers last week and looked to be on the verge of a gut-wrenching loss. However, big man Nikola Vucevic came up clutch for the second time this season, nailing a three-point buzzer beater to snatch the win!

Story of the Week: Chris Paul

While it was already pretty much known, 40-year-old legend Chris Paul finally officially announced that this would be his last season in the NBA.

Back at the Clippers for his final campaign, the 12x All-Star and five-time Assist Champion never won a championship, but his status as one of the greats is not in doubt.

Seen as one of the best point guards of all time, 'Point God' is one of three players in the history of the game with over 20,000 points and 10,000 assists - alongside LeBron James and Russell Westbrook.

A phenomenal playmaker, he has 12,545 assists to his name, the second most in history behind John Stockton (15,806).

He will certainly be missed after an exceptional 21-year career.
