The 14th week (July 7th to July 13) of the 2025 MLB season is over with and it was headlined by almost a dozen historical moments that will go down in the record books forever - the most in a single week so far this season!

As always, the highlights this week will be divided into the following categories: history, walk-offs, home runs, pitching, and fielding.

History (x10)

Cleveland Guardians manager Terry Francona earned his 2,000th career win after Sunday's 4-2 win over the Colorado Rockies!

Francona, a three-time Manager of the Year, got his coaching career started in 1997 with the Philadelphia Phillies. Since then, he's been the manager for the Boston Red Sox (2004-2011) and Cleveland Indians/Guardians (2013-2023), winning a World Series with each of them.

Now, in his first year as the Reds manager, the team is currently 49-47 at the 2025 All-Star Break.

New York Yankees All-Star Aaron Judge became the fastest person in MLB history to reach 350 home runs this past week!

Judge reached the feat in 1,088 games, beating out St. Louis Cardinals legendary power hitter Mark McGwire, who previously held the record at 1,280 games.

Minnesota Twins star centerfielder Byron Buxton (31) hit the first cycle at Target Field in its history on Saturday, capping it off with a home run.

What makes the moment even better is that he accomplished it on his bobblehead day! Target Field opened for the Twins in April 2010.

Seattle Mariners standout All-Star catcher Cal Raleigh has been on an unprecedented tear this season and now it continues after hitting his 38th home run of the season on Friday night - marking the most homers before the All-Star break in American League history!

Miami Marlins outfielder Kyle Stowers recorded his first-ever five-hit game in the majors on Sunday - and it came against the team that traded him!

Stowers finished the game with three home runs (and six RBI), marking just the third time in MLB history that a player hit a trio of bombs in the first series against their former team.

The other two were Cecil Fielder against the Toronto Blue Jays in 1990 and Cody Bellinger against the Chicago Cubs this season, with the later almost hitting four!

Pittsburgh Pirates ace Paul Skenes became the first ever pitcher to start in the All-Star game in both of his first two seasons in the major leagues!

Skenes was named the National League starting pitcher for the 2025 All-Star Game on July 15th. Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal will be the starting pitcher for the American League squad.

New York Mets shortstop and 2025 All-Star Francisco Lindor earned his 200th career steal this past week, making him just one of nine active players to achieve such a feat.

July 9, 2025, became the first day in MLB history where a leadoff inside-the-park home run (Athletics' Lawrence Butler) and a walk-off inside-the-park home run happened on the same date! I guarantee nobody had a bet placed for that one. Watch both of them below!

It is also the first leadoff inside-the-park home run for an Athletics player since 1943.

San Diego Padres' veteran starting pitcher Yu Darvish returned from injury in his seasonal debut this week, officially marking his 13th season in the MLB - the most ever by a Japanese-born pitcher the second-most all time from an Asian pitcher (Chan Ho Park of South Korea - 17).

Walk-Offs (x4)

Caleb Durbin's rookie season continues to be the definition of pure cinema! He earned his third walk-off hit of the season on Saturday, making him the first rookie since Gomer Hodge (1971) to hit three walk-off RBI before the All-Star break.

The Brewers' other young star, Jackson Chourio, hit a walk-off of his own last Wednesday en route to the team's sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers!

Travis d'Arnaud sent a line drive down the left field line to give the Los Angeles Angels a walk-off victory in the bottom of the ninth inning!

The Boston Red Sox are the hottest team in baseball right now, having won 10 straight games, and Ceddanne Rafaela was a huge reason for this after hitting a walk-off blast over the Green Monster!

Home Runs (x4)

Nothing like earning your first career home run in a late-game situation to give your team the lead - and that's exactly what Jose Fermin did!

The St. Louis Cardinals would go on to win 5-4 over the Atlanta Braves.

Lindor wasn't the only one to reach a 200 milestone. Chicago Cubs' Justin Turner hit his career 200th home this past week!

Arizona Diamonds' Geraldo Perdomo added onto the team's lead with a big 'ole grand salami - his 10th home run on the season!

Athletics' rookie star Nick Kurtz blasted this grand slam for his 14th on the year (at the time)!

Pitching (x3)

A touching moment out of the Bronx this past week after rookie Cam Schlittler earned his first-career strikeout with a nasty heater that reached 100 mph!

Boston Red Sox ace Garrett Crochet went the distance and threw an unreal complete-game shutout!

Baltimore Orioles rookie starting pitcher Brandon Young has been struggling this season - but he had a moment of glory after tossing an immaculate inning!

Fielding (x7)

Cleveland Guardians left fielder Steven Kwan made the game-saving catch for his team in the bottom of the 10th during Sunday's 6-5 win over the Chicago White Sox in extra innings!

If you want to see what it's like to throw a perfect frozen rope to home plate, then watch this insane clip of Michael Conforto doing just that!

No, you will not be able to guess how far Arizona Diamondbacks centerfielder Alek Thomas had to run to make this unbelievable catch!

Los Angeles Angels centerfielder Jo Adell ran a long way to track this ball down to make a spectacular catch!

Judge isn't just hitting home runs - he's also robbing opposing players of them like he did here against Cubs standout Pete Crow-Armstrong!

San Diego Padres outfielders Jackson Merrill and Fernando Tatis Jr. both robbed separate home runs in the same game last week!

Check them both out below.
