Los Angeles Dodgers star player Shohei Ohtani (30) blasted an opposite field home run in the team's Opening Day matchup against the Detroit Tigers.
The oppo-taco was Ohtani's second home run of the season as it extended the Dodgers lead 5-3 over the Detroit Tigers.
Ohtani's blast comes off of Tigers relief pitcher Brenan Hanifee in the bottom of the seventh inning.
His first home run of the 2025 season came during the Tokyo Series when the Dodgers took on the Chicago Cubs for a pair of games, which they won, earlier this month.
It originally took Ohtani nine games last year before he hit his first home run for the Dodgers.
But this time around? He already has two home runs in just three games.
The reigning NL MVP is looking to defend his crown.
