Henderson originally fell on his side during the top of the first inning after trying to make a leaping catch. He exited the game with a trainer shortly after grounding out during his first at-bat.
Baltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde (51) told reporters that taking him out was strictly precautionary and that no MRI exam would be needed.
"It's the first inning of a spring training game in February," said Hyde. "We felt the best thing to do was to let him go inside, look at it, relax. We'll continue to monitor and see how he is tomorrow."
Henderson was the Orioles' AL MVP candidate last season, placing fourth overall after a stellar year.
One of the game's best young players hit a .281 average with a whopping 37 home runs, 92 RBI, and 21 steals - making him one of the best young stars in the league.
Henderson now makes it two straight years of spring training injury concerns following an oblique strain that the shortstop sustained in 2024.
