The decision comes after Levis had an abysmal game on Sunday in the team's 37-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, throwing three interceptions, including a pick-six, and no touchdowns on 12 passing attempts against one of the worst defences in the league.
His 89 passing yards is the lowest of the season, with the second being 95 yards in their Week 6 loss to, ironically, the Colts. Levis has as many touchdowns as he does interceptions (12) this season with 1,916 yards (28th), a 63.7 completion percentage (23rd), and a 79.8 passer rating (30th).
Rudolph came into the game Sunday and faired rather well. He completed 21 of 29 passes for 209 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He now sits on 1,015 passing yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions on the year.
For a 3-11 Titans team well out of any playoff contention, they're fighting for nothing more than pride at this point. Their final three games of the season will all be against divisional opponents - Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans.
