Khan has been the Steelers' GM since 2022, with the team putting up a combined record of 29-22 during his time at the helm of their front office.

"Omar and his team have done a great job over the past three years in constructing our roster through the NFL Draft, strategic trades, and free agency. We look forward to continuing that trend that will lead to even more success on the field."
The Steelers have been having quite an interesting offseason. After trading for wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, the Steelers then turned around and traded their now former top receiver in George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys.
After not drafting a quarterback until they took Will Howard (Ohio State) in the sixth round, Pittsburgh signed veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a one-year deal worth $13.65 million, to which Hall of Fame Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw said is "a joke."
The team then made a trade recently with the Miami Dolphins, which sent notable safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to South Beach in exchange for the veteran cornerback Jalen Ramsey and tight end Jonnu Smith to top off all the moves they've made to try and improve their roster.
Pittsburgh is coming off back-to-back 10-7 seasons, which left them being knocked out in the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs both times.
Time will tell if the moves Khan has made this offseason will pay off in the long run, but bringing in a 40-year-old quarterback who teased retiring after this year certainly doesn't sound like a long-term plan.
