Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson felt confident after the team's first day of training camp on Wednesday.

“I’m only 28. I’m just getting started for real," said Jackson

The two-time MVP threw a career-best 4,172 passing yards and 41 passing touchdowns last season while also racking up 915 yards and four touchdowns on the ground - all while throwing just four interceptions.

"I believe our offence has no limits," said Jackson. "We have guys that can play any position. Zay (Flowers) in the slot, (DeAndre Hopkins) outside, (Rashod Bateman) outside, there's no roof."

"Hopkins is one of the greatest in the league - ever," said Jackson on the newly signed Hopkins this past offseason. "Him being a new addition is just going to make my job a lot easier. It's going to be bread and butter when the time comes. For now, we're just grinding."

Hopkins, who was signed as a free agent during the offseason, was already showing love to Ravens fans who showed out for the first day of camp, taking his time to sign autographs for the kids.

Every year, the Ravens have specific camp days where fans can show up and watch the team practice and interact with the players.

Jackson even went on to praise recent free agent signing and veteran cornerback Jaire Alexander, who was teammates with Jackson at Louisville during their college days, saying, "He's still that guy."

Ravens linebacker and defensive leader Roquan Smith continued to praise Alexander and the defence this Ravens team is bringing to the table.

"This is probably the most talented defense I've been on," said Smith

The Ravens' preseason kicks off on August 7th against the Indianapolis Colts
